I photograph weddings in a relaxed documentary style, capturing the real moments rather than creating them. I'll blend into the background when it matters most, gently guide you when you need it, and make sure you spend your day celebrating with the people you love instead of standing in front of a camera.

What Happens after we enquire?
First of all—thank you! I know choosing your wedding photographer is a big decision, and I want the whole process to feel easy from the very beginning.
Once you've sent your enquiry, I'll check my availability and send over everything you need to know about my packages. We can arrange a chat, if you would like, either over Zoom or in person if you're local, so we can get to know each other, talk through your plans, and make sure we're the right fit.
There's absolutely no pressure. It's simply a chance to hear about your day and answer any questions you have.
Will You Help With Our Timeline?
Absolutely.
I've photographed weddings of all shapes and sizes, so I'm always happy to help create a timeline that gives you plenty of breathing room while making the most of the light and your chosen venue.
I'll work with you to plan when family photographs happen, when we might sneak away for a few portraits, and how to keep everything flowing naturally—without making photography take over your day.
Will You Make Us Feel Comfortable?
Without a doubt.
Almost every couple tells me they're awkward in front of the camera. And honestly? That's completely normal.
You don't need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands—that's my job to help with. I'll keep things relaxed, chat with you as we walk, and create an atmosphere where you can simply be yourselves.
Most couples tell me afterwards that having their photographs taken was one of the easiest and most enjoyable parts of the day.
Do You Pose Us?
Not really.
If you've chosen me because you love the natural moments in my portfolio, that's exactly what you'll get.
The vast majority of your wedding gallery will be made up of genuine moments that happen naturally throughout the day. When it comes to your couple portraits, I'll offer gentle guidance rather than rigid posing. Think of it more as going for a walk together while I quietly capture the connection between you.
No awkward prom poses.
No forced smiles.
However, I may get you to do a big fake laugh, which then usually escalates into natural fits of laughter...I have my methods!
Just the two of you, enjoying a few quiet moments together.
What Happens If It Rains?
This is Scotland... so it probably will at some point!
The good news? Rain doesn't ruin wedding photographs.
Some of my favourite images have been taken during a light drizzle, dramatic skies or just after a shower when everything feels fresh and the light is beautifully soft.
I'll always have a backup plan, whether that's finding a sheltered spot, making the most of your venue's interiors, or embracing the weather if you're up for it. Scottish weather is part of the story, and sometimes it creates the most memorable photographs of all.
When Will We Receive Our Gallery?
I know how excited you'll be to relive your day, so I always send a selection of sneak peeks within a few days of your wedding.
Your full gallery is then carefully edited by me and delivered online within the timeframe outlined in your contract. Every image is individually selected and edited with the same care and attention that went into capturing your day.
There's no outsourcing—just me, making sure your photographs tell the story of your wedding exactly as I remember it.
