Wow! What a ‘not very gentle’ start to my 2021 weddings! 3 in a row the first week back followed by a further 2 during the latter part of the month, not to mention lots of beautiful newborns, family shoots, commercial photos and video & a smattering of engagement shoots too! Thank you to all and everyone who has supported me, booked me and generally just had my back over the last month!
This weekend is my first proper weekend off since ummm… well… early March I think?! I’m taking a couple of days for family time and to just chill, before the rest of the month happens…. it’s already kicked off with a 60th birthday coverage last night, then I’ll be doing some school photos, a couple of fab weddings, few epic engagement sessions or so and some lovely return customers for family shoots as well as some new clients too!
As life, and weddings, are not back to normal quite yet, I’ve really enjoyed doing micro-weddings, everything from tiny elopements to slightly larger longer days. Everyone’s wedding has felt so special and personal to them. It’s also been lovely welcoming lovely new parents to my studio for their newborn sessions as well as having the opportunity to visit Aviemore and do some commercial photography for one of my ‘should have been 2020 brides’ (now 2022!).
I’ve also had the opportunity to work with some amazing wedding suppliers too, some lovely new faces and some old favs! It’s been fantastic to see those of you I haven’t for over a year!
