Gayle & Ramone’s wedding day at Banchory Lodge Hotel was one of those celebrations that felt effortlessly joyful from start to finish. Set along the banks of the River Dee, the day unfolded with warmth, laughter, and an unmistakable sense of togetherness — the kind of wedding where every moment feels genuine and easy.

From bridal preparations through to the first few dances, I had the pleasure of capturing both photographs and a highlights film, documenting the day exactly as it felt.

The day began with bridal preparations at Banchory Lodge, where the atmosphere was relaxed and full of excitement. Gayle was surrounded by her closest people, with music playing, glasses clinking, and that quiet buzz that always comes before something special.

These early moments are some of my favourites to capture — the nerves, the laughter, the finishing touches — because they set the tone for the entire day. Everything felt calm and unforced, allowing space for real emotion and connection.

A Beautiful Ceremony & Natural Moments

As the ceremony approached, the energy shifted into something quietly emotional. Gayle & Ramone exchanged vows surrounded by family and friends, with the stunning Deeside setting adding to the sense of occasion without ever overpowering it.

What stood out most was how present they were with each other — the glances, the smiles, the way they laughed together. These are the moments that translate so beautifully into both still images and film, and they formed the heart of their story.
