Out of the blue Benedicte got in touch a couple of months before her wedding, saying that she has seen my photographs online and would love to book me for a small package for her more intimate wedding at Ballogie House back in October.
We met over a drink and a peruse of my albums and the deal was sealed!
Benedicte’s wedding was the first of 3 weddings that long weekend and one which I was working doing on my own - followed then by my last video wedding of 2019 at Meldrum House and finally by Kirsty and James’s elopement in Aviemore.
It was my first time at Ballogie and the venue did not disappoint! Just beautiful. The setting is gorgeous and the house itself is fantastic both inside and out!
The ceremony for Benedicte and Jon was beautifully personal and Benedicte’s
sister even stood up to give a solo rendition of Fields of Gold. Included in the ceremony were some beautiful little details like heirloom cut crystal glasses that had been in their family for many years.
We had some group shots outside with one of the guests flying a drone to capture a group shot from above & then we returned inside to have the speeches... and 8 speech marathon!
A glorious day was had by all!
What Benedicte & Jon said:
“Thank you so much! We absolutely love the pictures. We are so glad that you were there to capture the day!”
