There are some places that never lose their magic, no matter how many times you visit, and the Isle of Skye is definitely one of them.

In May, I made another trip across to Skye to continue photographing properties for the same company I've worked with on previous visits. Since my last trip, they had expanded their portfolio with the acquisition of a new B&B, Otter Lodge, giving me another fantastic property to capture and showcase.
As always, the work was rewarding. Photographing accommodation on Skye is made all the easier by the incredible surroundings, with every location benefiting from the island's dramatic landscapes, ever-changing light, and unique character. It was great to see how the company has continued to grow and develop its offering, and Otter Lodge was a welcome addition to the collection.
Of course, the trip wasn't all about work. One of the highlights was catching up with friends and enjoying some downtime between shoots. It's always good to reconnect, share stories, and enjoy the relaxed pace of island life.
I also managed to spend some time at Ashaig Beach, returning for several walks during my stay. With its peaceful shoreline, stunning views, and tranquil atmosphere, it provided the perfect escape after a busy day behind the camera.
As the trip came to an end, I found myself once again appreciating everything that makes Skye such a special place. The scenery, the people, the wildlife, and the sense of space all combine to create an island that keeps drawing me back.
Until next time, Skye—you were awesome!
