Wedding Planners
If you're planning your wedding from near or far, even maybe abroad then you might want to consider a elopement planning company that can pull together all the wedding suppliers you need to make your day magical.
I have had the pleasure of working with both Lindsay at Wide Sky Weddings and also at Sarah & Garry at Wild Scottish Weddings and have seen just how amazing both companies are and what a delight they are to work with.
Lindsay from Wide Sky Weddings, one of my favourite memories of working with Lindsay is standing soaked through on the shores of Loch Morlich for an outdoor beach wedding in November... damp though it was, it was an absolutely magical wedding and Lindsay really went above and beyond that day, supplying umbrellas, keeping spirits up after one of the brides rings had gone AWOL and making sure we kept somewhat to schedule for the reception venue at Badaguish and the intimate dinner that followed.
Sarah & Garry from Wild Scottish Weddings rock up in their 'Love Bus' with all the supplies you can think of for an extrodinary elopement champagne picnic - they're both fabulous with some amazing stories to tell. Making sure the day runs like clockwork they then take you on an epic photo location tour of the local area to make the most of the amazing senery before delivering you back to your intimate dinner, or larger reception in the evening. They really do the legwork when organising the most extrodinary elopements.
Venues & places to stay

Celebrants
I have worked with some amazing celebrants in my time, but some key ones that I would like to mention here are:
Elaine Jaffray from Aberdeenshire Registrars, she has conducted every elopement I've had the pleasure of photographing at the Linn of Quioch at Mar Lodge - she is such a friendly and warm celebrant who really goes above and beyond for her wedding couples.
Andrew Scott Celebrant, the epitomy of the BFG (Big Friendly Giant) - standing at around 6ft 4 tall, I do believe - he's probably one of the funniest celebrants I've worked with, with a sharpe wit whilst also bringing a great sense of calm to couples with pre-wedding nerves.
Pipers
When in Scotland you might as well go all out and have a piper, even if it is just you, your partner, a celebrant and a photographer attending your wedding...it really brings the magic alive in every eleopment I've photographed, whether it be an adaption of a popular song or a traditional tune, it really makes you feel a connection to Scotland and it's beauty. Again, I've worked with countless pipers in my wedding photography career, however here's some who really have that extra something.
Piping Tony - a quiet soul (yet dashingly handsome), he's amazing on both the Highland Bagpipes and also Uilleann Pipes (as pictured).
Spud the Piper - I've worked with Mr Spud (goodness know's what his actual name is!) on many occassions, and he's always a good laugh to work with, always dressed in full piping regalia and really quite something in photographs!
Munro Bagpiper - now, full confession, I've not actually professionally worked with Grant before... however, I was one of his next door neighbours at one point and also indeed went to school with him on the West Coast. He spent many hours in the field at the back of his parents house practicing the pipes and I can fully attest to how amazing a piper he is, so I'm fairly sure he won't mind being mentioned on my wee blog post here. He's also a member of an awesome band called Clann An Drumma
If you've needed inspiration for your wedding suppliers, hopefully you've found some here. And obviously if you need photography, highlights films and/or content creation, please do drop me a message! TTFN!
